The mega block today will be operated in two phases:

Thane Block: A 63-hour block for the widening of Platform 5/6 at Thane station, starting from midnight on May 30, 2024, and concluding at 3:30 PM on June 2, 2024. This block will affect the UP Slow Line, DN Fast Line, and UP Fast Line between Kalva and Thane.

CSMT Block: A 36-hour block for Non-interlocking (NI) works in connection with the extension of platforms 10/11 at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), starting from midnight on May 31, 2024, and concluding at 12:30 PM on June 2, 2024. This block will affect the UP and DOWN Harbour lines between CSMT and Vadala Road, UP and DOWN slow lines between CSMT and Byculla, and UP and DOWN fast lines between CSMT and Byculla.

Cancellation of Suburban Services:

A total of 930 suburban services will be cancelled during the block period, with 161 services on May 31, 534 services on June 1, and 235 services on June 2.

A total of 444 suburban services will be short terminated during the block period, with 7 services on May 31, 306 services on June 1, and 131 services on June 2.
