In a significant move to enhance commuter comfort and address the rising demand for air-conditioned travel, Western Railway has announced the introduction of 13 new AC local train services starting from November 27, 2024. This expansion will increase the total number of AC local services from 96 to 109 on weekdays and from 52 to 65 on weekends, marking a pivotal moment for Mumbai's suburban railway network.
